Police Reports / FOIA
Police report summaries may be available from the Records Center a minimum of five working days after the record has been requested. Requests may be made by completing and submitting a FOIA request form online, by mail or by fax. Paper copies are available at the Police Station if that is your preferred choice.
FOIA forms may also be obtained in person at the Records Center during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. A FOIA Officer will review all requests and respond in a manner consistent with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.

A $20.00 fee for an abstract of drivers record whether furnished as a paper or electronic copy as authorized by 625 ILCS 5/6-118
Voluminous request for electronic records not in a .pdf format, the following fees can be charged:
- Up to 2 MB of date: $20.00
- More than 2 MB, up to 4 MB of data $40.00
- More than 4 MB of date $100.00
Voluminous records in .pdf format, the following fees can be charged:
- Not more than 80 MG of data $20.00
- More than 80 MG, up to 160 MB of data $40.00
- More than 160 MG of data $100.00
