Freedom of Information Act

Police report summaries may be available from the Records Center a minimum of five working days after the record has been requested.  Requests may be made by completing and submitting a FOIA request form online, by mail or by fax.  Paper copies are available at the Police Station if that is your preferred choice.

FOIA forms may also be obtained in person at the Records Center during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.  A FOIA Officer will review all requests and respond in a manner consistent with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.
