Rockton Police Receive Memorial Donation - Proceeds to Save Lives

On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, the Rockton Police Department received a $10,000 donation from an anonymous donor.  Chief Matt Hollinger was presented with the check at the annual Kaitlyn Mary Miller Memorial Golf Outing held at Swan Hills Golf Club in Belvidere, IL.  This year's donation was in honor of Kaitlyn's uncle, William Miller who passed away in July of this year.  This generous donation will be used to impact the lives of the Rockton community with providing officers with new life saving tools including the purchase of 4 new Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) and additional supplies for the officer's portable trauma and medical kits.

Chief Hollinger was not only grateful for the donation, but felt blessed to be a part of the event and learn more about the Miller family and how they've impacted so many lives.
