Ironman 70.3 Rockford / Rockton Sunday June 22nd, 2025

Please welcome Ironman 70.3.  This event will start with the swimming portion in Rockford Sunday morning.  The athletes will then transition into the cyclist portion for a duration of 56.9 miles.  The athletes will ride through downtown Rockton before heading west of the Village.

Anticipate road closures throughout Rockton on Sunday, June 22nd from the hours of 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Traffic will be shut down and detoured on IL Route 75 (S. Blackhawk Blvd.) at Wagon Wheel Road and at N. Blackhawk at E. Mechanic Street.  Rockton Police Officers, Rockton Public Works and volunteers will be posted along various routes in order to assist with the road closures.  Please be patient.
